Optical framing for the coverage you need

The motorised lens adjusts between a broad horizontal view of 113.8° and a tighter 45.5° view. This lets you frame a doorway, driveway or selected area during setup instead of relying solely on digital cropping. The 2.36x optical zoom changes the lens view; it does not provide motorised camera pan or tilt.

A larger sensor for demanding lighting

An 8MP 1/1.2-inch sensor records at 3840 × 2160 with a maximum frame rate of 30fps. HDR, exposure controls and configurable noise reduction help you tune the image for the scene. The wide-aperture zoom lens supports low-light monitoring while retaining flexibility in how closely an area is framed.

AI detections that support faster review

The onboard Multi-TOPS AI engine supports detections for people, vehicles and animals, together with face and number plate recognition. These capabilities add relevant event information within UniFi Protect so teams can focus their review. Camera position, subject size and lighting still matter when planning recognition coverage.

Night monitoring and two-way communication

Adaptive infrared illumination and an IR-cut filter provide night vision up to 40M. Built-in two-way audio lets an authorised operator listen and speak through the camera using the Protect system. Choose the installation position for useful viewing and audible communication rather than treating the maximum IR distance as a guaranteed recognition distance.

Outdoor housing with straightforward mounting

The aluminium-alloy and polycarbonate enclosure is rated IP66 for weather exposure and IK04 for impact resistance. Included hardware supports wall or ceiling installation. Optional arm, pendant and junction-box mounting arrangements provide additional flexibility; select an accessory confirmed for this model before installation.

Power and system requirements to plan before purchase

Provide a PoE+ switch port or suitable injector, Ethernet cabling and a compatible UniFi console running Protect with recording storage. The camera draws up to 15W and connects through a Gigabit RJ45 interface. A microSD expansion slot is available for a separately purchased compatible card. The camera package includes mounting hardware, weatherproof cable parts and installation tools; the PoE source, console, recording storage and optional mounts are supplied separately.
