Key Features
4K detail with adjustable framing
The large image sensor captures 3840 × 2160 video at up to 30 FPS. Optical zoom lets you frame an entrance or a more distant subject without relying only on digital cropping. HDR and adjustable image controls help tune the view to the installation.
Built-in AI search and recognition
Integrated Edge AI supports semantic search and Re-ID, alongside face recognition, licence plate recognition and detections for people, vehicles and animals. These tools help operators locate relevant footage within UniFi Protect.
Standalone or Centralised Recording
An NVR is optional. A pre-installed 128GB microSD card provides local storage for standalone operation, which requires setup through the mobile app. The camera can also be adopted by a compatible Cloud Gateway or NVR for centralised management and recording.
Wired networking and outdoor installation
A Gigabit Ethernet connection carries network traffic and PoE+ power. The IP66 enclosure supports exposed outdoor locations, and infrared illumination reaches up to 40M. Standard ceiling and wall mounting hardware is included; alternative mounting accessories are sold separately.
Audio and installation choice
The built-in microphone records audio. This model has an IK10 impact rating and uses up to 15W. Choose the G6 Edge Turret when two-way talk is required; choose this dome when the stronger impact rating better suits the site.
