Its 1/1.8-inch 8MP sensor records at up to 30fps, and the fixed lens covers a wide scene. Infrared and visible LEDs support night-time viewing, while native face and licence plate recognition help identify relevant events in UniFi Protect.

This model suits entrances, loading areas and other positions where operators may need to communicate as well as observe. Black and White finishes share the same capabilities. A single Gigabit Ethernet connection carries data and PoE+ power, with a maximum 20W power requirement that should be included in the switch or injector budget.

Large-sensor 4K imaging

The 8MP sensor and fixed wide lens provide a detailed overview of the monitored area. Choose the installation position to frame the required subjects clearly. Brightness, exposure, white balance, HDR and noise reduction can be adjusted in the recording system to suit changing lighting and the character of the scene.

Useful AI event information

Person, vehicle and animal detections help separate relevant activity from general scene movement. Native face and number-plate recognition support focused review of recorded events. These functions benefit from clear subject views and appropriate camera placement; they are not a guarantee that every passing person or vehicle will be identified.

Infrared and visible lighting

Built-in IR illumination and an IR-cut filter support viewing in darkness, with a published infrared range of up to 40M. Visible LEDs are also integrated into the camera. Allow for reflections, nearby surfaces and the desired night-time picture when aiming the camera, especially around entrances and covered areas.

Two-way audio at the monitored location

The integrated audio capability lets an operator communicate through the camera as well as monitor the picture. This can be useful at reception approaches, gates and delivery points. Check that the location provides suitable sound coverage and that the intended Protect connection supports the required audio workflow.

Outdoor mounting with the correct power source

The aluminium-alloy and polycarbonate enclosure is rated IP66 and IK08. Use the supplied surface-mount components for a suitable basic installation or select a compatible optional arm, pendant or junction-box arrangement. A PoE+ switch or injector must support the camera's power requirement; a basic low-power PoE source should not be assumed suitable.

Protect management and recording

A compatible UniFi Protect console or NVR, recording storage and network power equipment are required separately. Standard Protect camera management and recording need no per-camera surveillance licence. A microSD slot is available for additional camera storage, with the storage card purchased separately.
