The Ubiquiti UACC-SSD-Tray is a removable M.2 NVMe SSD holder for supported Cloud Gateways and UNAS models. It accommodates one drive in the 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 or 22110 form factor and provides the insert needed to fit that drive into the host's storage bay.

Choose an NVMe Drive for the Host
The tray accepts M.2 NVMe storage rather than an M.2 SATA drive. Physical fit alone does not establish a drive's supported capacity or suitability for the workload. Check the exact SSD and host requirements before installation.
Understand the Host Interface Limit
UCG-Max, UCG-Fiber, UNAS-Pro-4 and UNAS-Pro-8 operate at PCIe Gen3x2 per NVMe drive. UNAS-4 operates at PCIe Gen2x1 per NVMe drive. A faster-generation SSD remains limited by the host interface; changing the tray does not increase that bandwidth.
Install According to the Device Procedure
Fit and secure the SSD using the storage installation procedure for the supported host, and observe its shutdown and handling requirements. Keep existing recordings or files protected before replacing a drive. The tray itself is a mechanical storage accessory and includes no SSD capacity.
