Multi-Gigabit Copper Connectivity for a 10G SFP+ Port

The Ubiquiti UACC-CM-RJ45-MG converts a compatible 10G SFP+ host port into an RJ45 copper Ethernet connection. It supports 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps RJ45 links, making it useful when a switch or gateway has a spare SFP+ port but the connected equipment uses Ethernet cabling.

Use it to connect an RJ45-equipped router, NAS, workstation or network segment without changing that device to fibre. At 10Gbps, the module supports a cable distance of up to 100M with suitable Cat6A cabling. The Ethernet cable is supplied separately.

The multi-gigabit RJ45 rates require a compatible 10Gbps SFP+ host port. A module cannot increase the speed or capabilities of its host, and compatibility with an arbitrary third-party switch is not guaranteed. Check the host's supported transceivers and port settings before installation.

Plan Cabling and Ventilation Together

Cable category, cable condition and the capabilities of both connected devices determine the working link. Allow suitable ventilation around the host equipment and keep the module within its specified operating temperature range.
