Synology FC600 is a 6MP indoor fisheye camera for entrances, shops, offices and shared spaces. It combines panoramic coverage with dewarped viewing, on-camera people analytics and infrared night vision up to 10M. For Surveillance Station recording, use a compatible Synology NAS or NVR with one available device licence. You do not need to buy another licence if your recorder already has an unused one.

See the room from one camera

Fisheye capture provides a panoramic view that can be dewarped into more natural viewing layouts. Mounting position and room obstructions affect coverage. Digital auto tracking changes the selected view; this is not a motorised pan-tilt camera.

Use on-camera people analytics

People counting, detection and intrusion rules help identify activity in configured areas. Instant Search locates people or motion events in supported recordings. Accuracy depends on installation, lighting, scene conditions and configuration.

Clearer footage through changing light

HDR helps balance bright and dark parts of a scene. Infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 10M under the manufacturer's test conditions. The camera is designed for indoor installation and has no published outdoor weatherproof rating.

Choose a suitable power source

Use an IEEE 802.3af Type 1 Class 3 POE source or a compatible 12V DC adapter. The POE switch, injector and DC adapter are separate purchases. The RJ45 interface runs at 10/100Mb/s; this camera does not provide WiFi.

Plan recording and licence requirements

FC600 uses one Surveillance Station device licence. An unused bundled or previously purchased licence on your compatible NAS or NVR covers the camera, so no additional licence purchase is needed in that case. Buy another device licence only when all your available licences are already in use. For a compatible third-party ONVIF recorder, follow that platform's requirements.

Keep recordings through network interruptions

A supported exFAT microSD card can provide local recording failover when the connection to the recorder is interrupted. The card is sold separately and the camera still requires power. Confirm card capacity and firmware support for your deployment.

Protect sensitive views

Privacy masking and HTTPS/SRTP support help control what is recorded and protect compatible network transfers. Built-in audio and digital I/O support integration with separately supplied speakers, alarms or access equipment.
