Choose from full-panel YMCKO for full-colour single-sided cards, half-panel 1/2 YMCKO for higher-yield partial-colour designs, YMCKOK for colour-front and black-reverse printing, or monochrome ribbons for text, barcodes, logos and speciality designs. Each compatible ribbon works with the CS-270e’s RFID-based consumable management system.

Key Features

YMCKO Full-Colour Ribbon

The YMCKO ribbon contains Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black and clear Overlay panels. It produces full-colour photographs, logos, text and graphics, followed by a transparent overlay that helps protect the printed card surface.

Each full-panel YMCKO ribbon produces up to 400 single-sided cards under the manufacturer’s specified conditions.

1/2 YMCKO Half-Panel Colour Ribbon

The 1/2 YMCKO ribbon uses half-size Yellow, Magenta and Cyan colour panels with full-size Black and clear Overlay panels. It is suitable for card designs that require a colour photograph, logo or graphic on only part of the card, together with black text and other information.

Each 1/2 YMCKO ribbon produces up to 560 single-sided cards, providing a higher yield than the full-panel YMCKO ribbon.

Colour photographs and graphics must be positioned within the designated half-panel printing area.

YMCKOK Colour and Black Ribbon

The YMCKOK ribbon is intended for automatic dual-sided card production. Its YMCKO panels print full-colour content with a protective overlay on the front, while the additional Black panel prints monochrome text, barcodes or information on the reverse.

Each ribbon produces up to 330 dual-sided cards. A HiTi CS-270e fitted with the optional flipper module is required for automatic dual-sided printing.

Resin Black Ribbon

The Resin Black ribbon provides sharp monochrome output for names, identification numbers, barcodes, QR codes, signatures, logos and other single-colour elements.

It produces up to 1,000 printed card sides and is suitable for organisations that do not require full-colour photographs or graphics.

White, Gold and Silver Ribbons

Selected markets may offer White, Gold and Silver monochrome ribbons for speciality printing on coloured, pre-printed or compatible transparent cards. These ribbons can be used for distinctive branding, membership designs, event passes and selected security applications.

Compatibility must be confirmed against the ribbon carton or supplier part number before use with the HiTi CS-270e.

RFID-Tagged Consumable Management

Compatible CS-270e ribbons incorporate RFID identification for consumable recognition and ribbon-status management. This helps the printer identify the installed ribbon type and monitor its remaining capacity.

Use the exact ribbon specified for the CS-270e and the intended sales region. Similar-looking CS-series ribbons may not be interchangeable.

Published yields represent the maximum number of completed cards or printed card sides under HiTi’s specified operating conditions. Actual yield can vary according to card design, printing coverage, dual-sided printing, cleaning cycles, rejected cards and printer settings.
