Edifier R20BT USB-Powered Bluetooth Desktop Speakers 5W

A Simple Desktop Pair With Modern Everyday Connections The Edifier R20BT combines a compact stereo speaker pair with USB power, computer audio and Bluetooth reception. Its 2.75-inch full-range drivers deliver 5W RMS total output in MDF cabinets, with AUX available for an analogue source. A headphone and microphone connection, direct touch controls and configurable lighting make it practical for a desk that needs straightforward sound without a separate speaker power brick. Highlights 5W RMS stereo output from two 2.75-inch full-range drivers. Attached USB-C cable carries compatible computer audio and power. Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint connection and SBC. AUX input and a 4-pole 3.5mm headset connection. Configurable lighting with EDIFIER ConneX and TempoHub support. Key Features Compact Cabinets With A Defined Stereo Layout Each speaker contains a 2.75-inch full-range driver with a bass-reflex port. The pair provides 2.5W RMS per channel, with MDF construction used to manage cabinet resonance. Position the cabinets around the display rather than putting them together, and allow room for the rear connections and the attached cable linking the pair. One USB Connection For Computer Use The attached USB cable provides power and audio streaming from a supported computer connection. The manual lists Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 for USB audio. When the USB-C plug is connected to an external power adapter instead, Bluetooth or AUX can be used as the audio source. A power-only connection does not provide computer audio by itself. Switch Between Two Bluetooth Devices Bluetooth 6.0 multipoint allows two devices to remain connected, making it easier to move between suitable sources. Pause or stop the current stream before starting playback from the second device. The listed Bluetooth codec is SBC; the Bluetooth version should not be taken as a promise of LDAC or other unlisted codecs. A Convenient Headset Connection At The Desk The 4-pole 3.5mm communication socket accepts wired headphones with or without a microphone. The speakers mute when headphones are connected, with listening level adjusted through the speaker controls. For a microphone function, use compatible headset wiring and a supported computer connection rather than assuming the AUX input carries a microphone signal. Tune The Appearance And Sound The touch panel provides direct control, while EDIFIER ConneX and the TempoHub computer app add supported sound and lighting settings. Preset sound profiles can be selected or customised, and illumination can be adjusted or switched off. The documented 1.8m inter-speaker and 1.5m USB leads help with planning placement around the desk. Summary Choose the Edifier R20BT for a compact USB-powered stereo desk system with useful source and headset connections. It keeps computer audio simple while adding Bluetooth multipoint, an analogue input and optional lighting customisation.
