Jabra PanaCast 55 VBS Panoramic Meeting Room Video Bar

A Wider Conversation with Room to Extend the Audio The Jabra PanaCast 55 VBS brings a panoramic view and a coordinated audio system to a medium meeting room. Three cameras cover a 180° horizontal field of view, while eight microphones and four speakers support a conversation that feels less dependent on where each person sits. Choose Bar Only for a suitable supported touchscreen or permanent BYOD arrangement, or System with Touch Controller for the Jabra Control IP interface. A compatible optional PanaCast SpeakerMic can extend audio reach when the room design requires it. Meeting-platform licences, displays, installation and optional accessories are separate, and the listed regional power pack should be checked for the installation. Highlights Three-camera panoramic video with 180° horizontal and 54° vertical coverage. Up to 3840 ×1080 panoramic output and 6× lossless digital zoom. Eight-microphone beamforming array, four speakers and full-duplex processing. Audio coverage up to 7m, or up to 11m with one compatible optional PanaCast SpeakerMic. Android-based appliance and supported BYOD deployment. Bar Only or System with 10.1-inch Jabra Control IP touch controller. Key Features Give Remote Participants a More Complete View A 180° panoramic camera arrangement helps include the people close to the display and at the sides of the room. The three-camera system supports up to 3840 ×1080 panoramic video and 6× lossless digital zoom. This wide panoramic format differs from a conventional 3840 ×2160 television image; actual transmission depends on the meeting platform and mode. Frame People Rather Than the Background Intelligent Zoom, Virtual Director and Dynamic Composition support automatic views of participants and active speakers. Intelligent Meeting Space defines the intended meeting boundary. Advanced layouts, multi-stream video and other functions depend on the platform and supported software, so select them around the actual room workflow. Build on a Coordinated Audio System Eight beamforming microphones support outgoing speech, while four speakers combine woofers and tweeters for far-end sound. Full duplex, echo cancellation and non-speech noise suppression support conversation across the room. The manufacturer states audio coverage up to 7m, subject to the room and installation. Extend Audio Where It Is Needed One compatible PanaCast SpeakerMic can extend stated audio reach to up to 11m. It is a separate accessory and works as part of the bar’s audio system. Extended audio coverage does not mean every camera mode is suitable beyond 7m; larger rooms may require a different camera and room design. Choose the Control Method for the Room The integrated Android appliance supports appropriate Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms deployment with separate room accounts and subscriptions. System with Touch Controller includes Jabra Control IP with a 10.1-inch display. Bar Only supports a suitable touchscreen or permanent BYOD workflow without a bundled touch controller. Plan Display, Sharing and Connectivity Together Two HDMI video outputs support a suitable display arrangement, while HDMI input provides content sharing. Supported Teams Cast and AirPlay functions belong to their respective platforms. Ethernet, supported Wi-Fi and USB connections provide the installation paths, but the intended laptop, network and room layout should be checked before deployment. Make the Installation Maintainable The bar includes a wall-mount arrangement, privacy cover and cable-management features. Table and screen mounts are separate accessories, and some official photographs show optional stands. Jabra Plus, Jabra WebConsole and compatible platform-management portals support administration, while the selected regional mains lead must suit the destination. Summary PanaCast 55 VBS suits a medium meeting room that needs a panoramic view, integrated room audio and a clear choice of control method. Its optional SpeakerMic provides an audio expansion route, while careful planning keeps camera limits, meeting subscriptions and regional package details clear. Frequently Asked Questions What Is the Difference Between Bar Only and System with Touch Controller?ExpandCollapse Bar Only does not include Jabra Control IP. System with Touch Controller adds the 10.1-inch control unit for supported room functions. Both packages require a display and the appropriate meeting account, subscription and installation. Is the PanaCast SpeakerMic Included?ExpandCollapse No. The compatible SpeakerMic is a separate accessory. The bar supports one SpeakerMic, extending stated audio coverage from up to 7m to up to 11m under suitable conditions. Does 11m Audio Coverage Mean Every Video Mode Works Across 11m?ExpandCollapse No. The manufacturer cautions that some video modes may not work as intended in rooms larger than 7m. Longer audio reach does not remove camera, framing or room-design limits. Can It Run Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms without a Room PC?ExpandCollapse Yes, in a supported native Android appliance deployment. The correct room-platform account, subscription, display, network and configuration are still required. Advanced functions differ by platform. Can a Laptop Use the Bar Instead?ExpandCollapse Supported BYOD and permanent BYOD operation allow a laptop-led workflow. Check the exact USB connection, display routing, computer and meeting application before deployment. Which Power Pack and Mounts Are Supplied?ExpandCollapse The System with Touch Controller is the AU/NZ regional configuration. Confirm the exact mains lead for the destination and the Bar Only package. The wall-mount arrangement is included, while table and screen mounts are separate accessories; official demonstration photos may show optional stands. 阅读更多
