Insta360 Flow 2 Smartphone Gimbal

Keep the Story in Frame Turn everyday phone filming into more considered footage with Insta360 Flow 2. Its three-axis gimbal steadies movement while Deep Track 4.0 helps follow your subject in the Insta360 app. A folding design, integrated selfie stick and tripod make it easy to move from a walk-through video to a hands-free introduction. Choose the tracking setup that suits the apps you use, then concentrate on the people, place or story in front of the lens. Highlights Three-axis mechanical stabilisation for smoother smartphone footage. Deep Track 4.0 with group-framing and zoom-tracking tools in the Insta360 app. AI Tracker Bundle adds the separate tracking module for supported third-party shooting. Built-in selfie stick and tripod with a compact folding body. Up to 10 hours of laboratory-tested runtime, with USB-C phone power output. Phone fit covers 64–84 mm width, 6.9–10 mm thickness and 130–300 g weight. Key Features Steady Movement for Everyday Filming The three-axis mechanism compensates for hand movement as you film walking shots, controlled pans or a moving subject. Auto mode provides an approachable starting point, while Follow, Pan Follow, FPV and Lock modes give you different ways to control the frame. Use the joystick, trigger and zoom wheel to shape the shot without continually reaching around the mounted phone. Keep Attention on Your Subject Deep Track 4.0 runs in the Insta360 app to help follow a subject as the composition changes. Multi-Person Tracking is useful for shared moments, while Active Zoom Tracking helps maintain attention when filming at a distance. Pro Framing Grid offers guided subject positioning. Tracking performance and available shooting functions still depend on the phone, app, subject and scene. Choose the Tracking Setup for Your Apps The Standard Bundle provides the gimbal, magnetic phone clamp, charging cable and protective pouch. The AI Tracker Bundle adds the tracking module for use beyond the Insta360 app on compatible iOS and Android setups. Its integrated light is useful when the subject needs additional illumination. Flow 2 does not include Apple DockKit tracking, and its pan axis has a defined mechanical range; do not assume the native-app or continuous-rotation capabilities of Flow 2 Pro. Unfold a More Flexible Shooting Position The integrated selfie stick extends your shooting position by approximately 20 cm, and the built-in tripod supports fixed-position recording on a stable, level surface. This makes a practical transition between a handheld introduction, a lower angle and a group shot. The gimbal folds down for carrying, and a 1/4-inch mounting point allows an appropriate external tripod when more support is needed. A Practical Power and Control Arrangement The internal battery provides up to 10 hours under the manufacturer’s balanced, stationary laboratory conditions. Actual runtime changes with tracking, accessory use and movement. Separate USB-C input and output ports let you recharge the gimbal or supply power to a phone; charging a phone uses the same battery reserve. A full gimbal charge takes approximately two hours with a suitable 5 V/2 A supply under the stated test conditions. Set Up the Phone with Care Fit and balance the phone securely in the magnetic clamp before shooting, and check the manufacturer’s current phone and app compatibility information. Supported NFC pairing can simplify connection on compatible phones; app activation is required before first use. Keep the gimbal dry, avoid high-impact activity and allow its motors to move freely. The camera, recording quality and available resolutions are provided by the mounted phone. Summary Insta360 Flow 2 brings stabilisation, subject tracking and adaptable shooting positions into a compact phone-filming kit. Its built-in support and accessible controls suit travel, everyday stories and creator work. Select the appropriate tracking bundle and check phone compatibility for the workflow you plan to use. Frequently Asked Questions Will Flow 2 Fit My Phone?ExpandCollapse The recommended phone range is 64–84 mm wide, 6.9–10 mm thick and 130–300 g. Check the phone and case combination, balance it centrally and make sure the clamp is secure. Physical fit alone does not establish support for every camera or app function. Refer to the manufacturer’s current phone compatibility guidance before purchase. What Does the AI Tracker Bundle Add?ExpandCollapse It adds the AI Tracker to the gimbal, magnetic phone clamp, USB-C to USB-A charging cable and protective pouch supplied in the Standard Bundle. The module provides a tracking route for supported third-party shooting on compatible iOS and Android setups and has an integrated light. The phone is not included. Can Flow 2 Track in My Phone’s Native Camera App?ExpandCollapse Flow 2 does not support Apple DockKit. Use Deep Track 4.0 in the Insta360 app, an appropriate Live Mode workflow, or the AI Tracker for supported third-party use. Camera-button functions and tracking behaviour vary with the phone and app. Flow 2 also has a limited pan range, rather than the continuous pan rotation of Flow 2 Pro. How Long Does the Battery Last and Can It Charge a Phone?ExpandCollapse The manufacturer rates runtime at up to 10 hours with a balanced gimbal at 25°C in a stationary position and without an AI Tracker or fill light attached. Real shooting time varies. The USB-C output can supply a phone, which reduces the remaining gimbal runtime. A full gimbal charge takes approximately two hours at 5 V/2 A under laboratory conditions. Can I Use Flow 2 in Rain or During High-Impact Activity?ExpandCollapse Flow 2 is not waterproof. Keep it away from rain, liquid and humid conditions, and avoid impacts or strong vibration that could dislodge the magnetic phone clamp. Fully extend the tripod legs on a stable surface and avoid unstable or windy setups. Remove the clamp when using phone functions affected by magnets, such as wireless charging. 阅读更多
