D-Link DWR-932M 4G LTE N300 Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot

Your Own Wi-Fi Connection, Ready to Travel The D-Link DWR-932M turns a compatible mobile data SIM into a private Wi-Fi connection for a laptop, tablet and the devices travelling with you. Its pocket-sized body and rechargeable battery make it useful for a working day away from the office, a family journey or a temporary connection while fixed broadband is unavailable. Cat4 LTE supports cellular downloads up to 150 Mbps, while N300 Wi-Fi shares the connection with up to 10 wireless devices. The colour display puts signal, battery and connection information within easy reach, so you can check the essentials without opening a computer. A compatible nano SIM and active data service are required. Highlights Mobile Connection Cat4 LTE with up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload 2.4 GHz N300 Wi-Fi for up to 10 wireless clients Nano SIM slot for a compatible data service Pocket-Sized Convenience Rechargeable 3000 mAh battery 1.77-inch colour TFT display USB-C charging in a 114 g device Everyday Control WPA/WPA2 wireless security and WPS IPv4/IPv6, NAT and built-in firewall Firmware-over-the-air update support Key Features Share a Mobile Data Connection Insert a compatible nano SIM with an active data plan to create a Wi-Fi hotspot for your own devices. The DWR-932M shares its cellular connection with up to 10 wireless clients, making it practical for a laptop and travel companions without relying on an unfamiliar public Wi-Fi network. Mobile coverage and the chosen service still determine Internet availability. Keep Work and Personal Devices Together The 2.4 GHz 802.11n network supports link rates up to 300 Mbps and compatible earlier Wi-Fi devices. This is the local wireless connection, while the cellular link supports up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. Neither figure is a guaranteed Internet speed; signal strength, network traffic and connected devices affect actual performance. Check the Connection at a Glance A 1.77-inch colour TFT screen shows useful information including network type, signal strength, connection status, battery level, Wi-Fi name and connected clients. It also displays mobile data rates and SMS status. This makes basic checks more convenient when the hotspot is beside a laptop or being shared during a journey. Take Rechargeable Wi-Fi With You The 3000 mAh lithium-ion battery provides a rechargeable mobile power source in a device measuring 63 × 108 × 15.5 mm. USB-C charging uses a 5 V/1 A input. Battery runtime varies with signal, activity and the number of connected clients, so keep a suitable charging source available for longer use. Manage Access With Clear Controls WPA and WPA2 encryption help protect access to the wireless network, with WPS available for compatible devices. The built-in firewall, NAT and IP-, port- and MAC-based filters provide additional network controls. Use a strong wireless password and appropriate settings; a hotspot complements normal device security rather than replacing it. Plan for the Mobile Network You Will Use The regional specification supports a broad set of LTE bands and WCDMA/HSPA fallback. Check the operator, destination bands, SIM permissions and roaming plan before travel. Firmware-over-the-air support simplifies supported updates, while the pocket-sized format makes the hotspot easy to keep with the devices that need the connection. Summary The DWR-932M is a straightforward portable hotspot for sharing compatible 4G mobile data with everyday Wi-Fi devices. Choose it for its compact body, colour status display and rechargeable battery, and check network coverage and SIM suitability before relying on it for a journey or temporary connection. Frequently Asked Questions Does It Include a SIM Card or Mobile Data?ExpandCollapse No mobile data service is included. You need a compatible nano SIM with an active data plan. The operator, coverage, subscription and any roaming permissions determine whether it can connect at the intended location. How Many Devices Can Share the Connection?ExpandCollapse The manufacturer supports up to 10 wireless clients. They share the available mobile connection and Wi-Fi capacity, so activity on one device can affect the others. The maximum client count is not a promise of full speed for every device. Is This a Wi-Fi 6 or 5G Hotspot?ExpandCollapse No. This model uses 4G LTE Cat4 cellular connectivity and 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. Its published wireless class is N300. It does not provide a 5G cellular modem or a 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. Can I Use It Overseas?ExpandCollapse It can be used where the local mobile network, supported regional bands and SIM service are compatible. Check the destination operator and roaming or local-SIM arrangements first; support for several bands does not guarantee service in every country. How Is the Battery Charged?ExpandCollapse Charge the rechargeable 3000 mAh battery through the USB-C port using a suitable 5 V/1 A supply. Runtime depends on the signal, traffic and connected clients. The USB-C charging port is not an Ethernet socket. What Warranty Is Included?ExpandCollapse The main unit has a 3-year warranty. Battery coverage is 6 months and accessories are covered for 3 months, subject to the applicable component terms. 阅读更多
