Two Independently Adjustable 4K Views from One Camera The UniFi AI Multi Sensor 2 covers two areas from a single network connection. Each adjustable lens captures an 8MP 4K view, giving 16MP total across two separate streams. With 2.33× optical zoom on each view, you can monitor a broad area with one lens while framing a doorway, aisle or approach more tightly with the other. A Multi-TOPS AI engine supports face and licence plate recognition together with people, vehicle and animal detection. The IP66 and IK10 enclosure suits indoor and outdoor installations, but Ubiquiti optimises this compact camera for well-lit environments. Plan the location to reduce glare and give each lens a clear view of its intended subjects. Optional arm mount, pendant mount and weather shield. Key Features Independent views instead of a stitched panorama Each lens has its own positioning, zoom and AI detection zone controls. This lets you aim the views towards separate areas without committing both to one wide image. The camera does not stitch its two images into a panorama, so select it for flexible targeted views rather than an uninterrupted panoramic picture. Optical zoom for the required scene The 3.18–7.42 mm lenses provide 2.33× optical zoom. At the wide setting each view covers 108.8° horizontally, narrowing to 42.8° at telephoto. Use the wider view for situational awareness and the tighter view when a specific entrance or activity area needs more image detail. Portrait coverage for corridors Hallway mode rotates the image for areas better covered by a portrait aspect ratio. A camera positioned near the centre of a corridor can aim its two lenses in opposite directions. This can reduce the need for separate mounting positions while preserving independent coverage and detection settings for each direction. Plan lighting and exposure Adaptive infrared illumination reaches up to 20M, but the compact multi-sensor design is optimised for well-lit areas. Direct sunlight can create lens glare. Where practical, install under an eave or use the compatible optional weather shield for wall mounting. Configure HDR, exposure and noise reduction for the actual installation. Mounting to suit the location Included mounting components support ceiling, wall and pole installations, with a conduit-pipe adapter also supplied. For alternative layouts, choose the model-specific UACC-AI-MS-2-AM arm mount or UACC-AI-MS-2-PM pendant mount. The UACC-AI-MS-2-WS weather shield is a separate accessory; these items are not part of the standard camera purchase. Power and recording requirements One Gigabit Ethernet connection carries data and PoE+ power. Allow for up to 25W at the camera and use a compatible UniFi Protect console or NVR with recording storage. The power source, recording hardware and optional microSD card are sold separately. Standard Protect camera management and recording do not require a per-camera surveillance licence.
