Edifier M60 66W RMS Compact Desktop USB and Bluetooth Speaker

A Better Listening Position At Your Desk The Edifier M60 gives desktop listening a considered upgrade with two compact wooden speakers, built-in amplification and dedicated tweeters and mid-low drivers. USB-C, AUX and LDAC-capable Bluetooth support different sources, while the supplied angled stands help direct the sound towards you. It is a complete active stereo system for music, video and everyday computer listening without the need for a separate amplifier. Highlights A True Desktop Stereo Pair 66W RMS total output from dedicated drivers in two compact wooden cabinets. Included 15-degree aluminium stands for a more useful listening angle. Connect The Way You Listen USB-C computer audio and 3.5mm AUX input. Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC support from a compatible source. Precise And Uncomplicated 24-bit/96kHz audio processing with active crossover and dynamic range control. Touch controls with automatic backlighting and EDIFIER ConneX app settings. Key Features Separate Speakers For A More Defined Stereo Image A speaker on either side of your display provides a physical left and right listening arrangement. Each cabinet combines a silk-dome tweeter with a long-throw aluminium mid-low driver, while built-in Class-D amplification delivers 66W RMS across the pair. Place them at a similar distance from your seat to give vocals and instruments a more consistent position. Desktop Stands That Serve The Sound The supplied aluminium stands tilt the speakers by 15 degrees, directing sound towards ear level and reducing the influence of reflections from the desktop. They are part of the system rather than a separate purchase. Leave room for the cabinets and rear cables, and keep the left and right arrangement as balanced as your desk allows. Detailed Processing With Dedicated Amplification The M60 operates with 24-bit/96kHz digital processing. A DSP manages active crossover and dynamic range control, while the amplifier drives the high- and mid-low-frequency sections separately. The benefit is a well-organised compact system in which the drivers, amplification and processing have been designed to work together. A Practical Choice Of Audio Inputs Use USB-C for compatible computer audio, AUX for an analogue line-level source or Bluetooth when you prefer a wireless connection. The speakers still need mains power and the cable between the two cabinets, so USB-C is an audio connection rather than the system’s power supply. A turntable needs a line output or suitable phono preamplification before the AUX input. LDAC When Your Source Supports It Bluetooth 5.3 supports SBC and LDAC. With a compatible LDAC source, high-resolution wireless transmission can reach up to 24-bit/96kHz; available quality depends on the device, settings and connection. It gives supported Android users another listening route while USB-C remains useful for a regular computer connection. Controls That Keep The Desk Uncluttered The top touch panel lights as your hand approaches, keeping controls visible when you need them. Use touch and swipe gestures for everyday operation, or open EDIFIER ConneX for sound effects, custom EQ and backlight settings. Start with a comfortable volume, then make small sound adjustments for your room and listening distance. Summary Choose the Edifier M60 for a compact active stereo system built around desktop listening. Its included stands, useful connection choices and accessible controls make it easy to give music and everyday computer audio a more considered place in your workspace. Frequently Asked Questions Does the M60 include both speakers and the stands?ExpandCollapse Yes. The system includes an active speaker, a passive speaker and a pair of angled speaker stands, together with the connecting and audio cables listed in the specifications. Is the M60 powered through USB-C?ExpandCollapse No. USB-C is an audio input. The active speaker connects to mains power, and a speaker cable connects the two cabinets. Does every Bluetooth source support LDAC?ExpandCollapse No. LDAC requires a compatible source and the appropriate Bluetooth settings. Edifier specifies supported Android devices with Android 8.0 or later; the device must itself support LDAC. Other compatible sources can use SBC Bluetooth playback. Can I use the M60 with my computer?ExpandCollapse Yes, through compatible USB audio or the 3.5mm AUX input. The manual lists Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 for USB streaming. In USB and AUX modes, adjust the source and speaker volumes separately. Do I need an amplifier or a phono preamplifier?ExpandCollapse A separate power amplifier is not required because the M60 is active. A turntable needs a line-level output, either built in or provided by a suitable phono preamplifier, before connecting to AUX. 続きを読む
