D-Link DLA-X303 AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor D-Lite Cloud Access Point

Managed Wi-Fi Beyond the Indoor Network Extend wireless access into outdoor areas with the D-Link DLA-X303. This AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 access point combines an IP67-rated enclosure, wall or pole mounting and PoE input for a practical outdoor installation. It is suited to planned coverage around courtyards, external work areas and other spaces where an indoor access point is not the right hardware. D-Lite cloud management gives supported indoor and outdoor devices a central place for configuration, monitoring and maintenance, without a recurring cloud-management subscription. Keep guest access and wireless policies consistent across the site while choosing placement, weather protection and cabling to suit the actual environment. Highlights Outdoor Wireless AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 across 2.4GHz and 5GHz. IP67-rated housing with an operating range of −30 to 60 °C. Internal antennas and wall or pole mounting. Business Management Two Gigabit RJ45 ports, including a PoE input. Subscription-free D-Lite cloud and mobile management. Guest access controls, RADIUS authentication and captive portal support. Key Features Hardware Designed for Outdoor Placement The IP67-rated enclosure is designed for dust and water protection in an outdoor installation, with operation specified from −30 to 60 °C. Correct mounting, cable sealing, cable selection and installation practice are essential to preserve that protection. It provides a suitable hardware foundation for external wireless areas without treating weather resistance as a guarantee against every exposure. Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 for External Areas The DLA-X303 supports physical signal rates up to 573.5 Mbps on 2.4GHz and 2,402 Mbps on 5GHz. MU-MIMO and beamforming support a mix of compatible devices, while 160MHz channels are available on 5GHz where permitted. Plan around vegetation, structures, interference and client locations rather than assuming the advertised wireless class defines coverage distance. PoE With Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity A Gigabit Ethernet port accepts IEEE 802.3at PoE, helping bring power and data to a suitable mounting point through one Ethernet run. A second Gigabit port provides data connectivity, and 12V DC 1A power is also supported. Outdoor cabling, surge protection and the power budget should be selected as part of the complete site design. One Cloud View Across the Site D-Lite supports central configuration and monitoring of compatible access points and switches, with mobile access for routine checks away from the desk. There is no recurring cloud-management subscription charge. An active D-Lite account and internet connectivity are required for cloud functions, while each location still needs a correctly designed local network. Guest Access With Useful Security Controls Use guest SSIDs, separate authentication and user isolation to organise wireless access around different users. RADIUS authentication and captive portal capabilities provide further options for a managed installation. WPA3 support, SSID schedules and speed limits help align access with business policy, subject to suitable client support and configuration. Practical Tools for Ongoing Maintenance Automatic channel selection, radio power adjustment and 802.11k/v/r support assist WLAN tuning across multiple access points. Settings backup, local and remote firmware upgrades, fault alarms and diagnostic tools help maintain the installation over time. The compact enclosure and wall or pole mounting options allow placement to be chosen around the coverage plan and service access. Summary The D-Link DLA-X303 combines outdoor-ready AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 hardware with IP67 protection, PoE and subscription-free D-Lite cloud management. It is a practical access point for planned external coverage where weather-appropriate installation, guest controls and consistent administration matter as much as the wireless connection itself. Frequently Asked Questions Does D-Lite cloud management require a subscription?ExpandCollapse D-Lite cloud management has no recurring subscription charge. An active D-Lite account and an internet connection are required for cloud access. You can use the cloud interface and mobile app to configure and monitor supported devices across sites without installing a dedicated on-site hardware controller. Is the DLA-X303 suitable for outdoor installation?ExpandCollapse Yes. It has an IP67-rated enclosure and a specified operating range of −30 to 60 °C. The installation must use suitable mounting, correctly sealed cable entries and appropriate outdoor cabling. IP67 does not remove the need for correct installation, surge protection or assessment of unusual environmental exposure. How is the outdoor access point powered?ExpandCollapse It supports IEEE 802.3at PoE through its PoE Ethernet input or a suitable 12V DC 1A supply. Choose a compatible power source and confirm the accessories supplied with your order. The complete installation should account for cable length, power budget, outdoor cabling and surge protection. Does it support 6GHz or Wi-Fi 7?ExpandCollapse No. The DLA-X303 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 access point operating on 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The highest wireless rates and 160MHz operation require compatible clients, suitable settings and channel availability permitted in the installation country. Can it provide guest Wi-Fi outside the building?ExpandCollapse Yes. Guest SSIDs, user isolation, RADIUS authentication and captive portal capabilities support a managed guest service. Configure the upstream gateway and access policies appropriately. The access point requires an existing network and does not include an internet service. Can I rely on wireless mesh instead of a cable?ExpandCollapse The manufacturer lists AP mesh support, but a working design depends on compatible devices, supported firmware, clear radio paths and the intended load. A wired uplink is preferable where practical. Confirm the proposed mesh arrangement before choosing hardware, particularly where buildings, foliage or long distances affect the path. 続きを読む
