Edifier QD25 Portable Bluetooth and USB-C Speaker 25W

Flexible Listening With A Distinctive Portable Presence The Edifier QD25 combines a battery-powered tabletop speaker with Bluetooth multipoint, computer USB-C audio and configurable lighting. Its separate mid-bass driver and silk-dome tweeter receive 25W RMS total amplification, assisted by an oval passive radiator. A second QD25 can be paired for a separate stereo arrangement, while direct controls and EDIFIER ConneX keep everyday playback and personalisation within reach. Highlights 25W RMS output with a 2.5-inch mid-bass driver and 0.75-inch tweeter. USB-C audio supporting up to 24-bit/96kHz. Bluetooth 6.0 with two-device multipoint and SBC codec. Up to 15 hours of playback under stated test conditions. Stereo pairing between two QD25 speakers, purchased separately. Key Features A Dedicated Two-Way Driver Arrangement A 2.5-inch mid-bass driver and 0.75-inch silk-dome tweeter have separate amplification, rated at 15W and 10W respectively. An oval passive radiator supports the low-frequency arrangement without adding another powered driver. The compact enclosure makes it a practical speaker to move between indoor listening spaces while keeping a defined two-way design. Choose Wireless Or USB-C Audio Bluetooth 6.0 provides wireless reception from compatible sources, with SBC as the listed codec. USB-C offers a wired audio route up to 24-bit/96kHz with a compatible source and playback configuration. Use a suitable data cable for audio; the USB-C connector also serves the speaker’s charging function, but a power-only connection does not carry music. Keep Two Devices Ready For Source Switching Multipoint lets two Bluetooth devices remain connected. Pause the active stream before starting playback on the other source, rather than expecting the speaker to mix two wireless streams. The physical controls handle daily playback, while EDIFIER ConneX provides supported sound, firmware and lighting settings. The manufacturer also lists TempoHub computer-app support. Expand To A Separate Stereo Arrangement Two QD25 speakers can link for Bluetooth stereo playback. The first speaker becomes the master/right channel and the second provides the left channel, following the manual’s pairing procedure. A second unit is a separate purchase; the single supplied speaker remains a complete listening system on its own. Battery Listening With Clear Test Conditions The stated maximum of 15 hours was measured with SBC audio, 50% volume and the ambient lighting off. Listening level, lighting and programme material affect actual runtime. Charge through USB-C using the specified power arrangement, and choose a lighting setting that suits the room and the available battery time rather than treating maximum runtime as a guarantee in every mode. Summary Choose the Edifier QD25 for a portable tabletop speaker with both wireless and computer-audio options. Its battery, two-way driver design and optional stereo pairing offer room to adapt the setup, with lighting and sound settings available for a more personal listening space.
