D-Link DXS-3600-16S-SE-LIC Enhanced Image Upgrade Licence

Enable Enhanced Software on Your DXS-3600-16S Upgrade an eligible DXS-3600-16S switch from Standard Image to Enhanced Image with its model-specific D-Link licence. It is a software entitlement for the existing switch, with no hardware included. We verify the target model and installed edition before arranging activation details. This keeps the upgrade matched to the switch rather than a similarly named model. Start from an Eligible Standard Image The licence upgrades the supported Standard Image to Enhanced Image. A switch already supplied with the required Enhanced features may not need this purchase. Extend Supported Layer 3 Capabilities Enhanced Image adds the documented advanced routing feature set to an eligible switch. The DXS-3600 platform documents functions including OSPF, BGP/MP-BGP, VRF-Lite and supported MPLS functions. Confirm the required feature against the switch’s exact firmware before activation. The upgrade does not add hardware interfaces or include network design and configuration services. Verify Firmware and Activation Requirements Check the installed image, supported firmware and device registration requirements. Follow the model-specific manufacturer activation procedure and retain the resulting licence record. Plan Configuration Separately A licence supplies entitlement to the feature set. Routing design, testing and production configuration remain separate tasks and should be planned around the existing network.
