This 3 MP 1296 p version is distinct from the older Full HD model. Image clarity depends on lighting, placement and network conditions. Move the View Where It Is Needed Motorised 355° pan and 180° tilt let you reposition the view through the app. Panoramic view selection helps jump to a selected area, and automatic motion tracking follows detected movement. Tracking cannot ensure every moving subject remains visible when several objects move at once. Keep Watch After Dark Infrared illumination reaches up to 8 m in darkness. The camera’s infrared-cut filter helps switch between day and night operation. Position it indoors with a clear view of the area being monitored. Reflections and distance affect the usable image. Hear and Respond Through Two-Way Audio A built-in microphone and speaker support a two-way conversation through the app. Motion and sound events can generate supported push notifications. Alerts help you check the view but should not be treated as a guaranteed response to every incident. Choose a Recording Arrangement A compatible microSD card supports local recording up to 128 GB. Optional mydlink cloud recording provides a different storage arrangement under an applicable subscription. The memory card is not included. Connect Through Wi-Fi 6 The current C1 hardware uses 2.4 GHz 802.11ax Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.2 for setup. It is powered through USB-C at 5 V, 1 A. It is an indoor, mains-powered camera rather than a battery or outdoor camera. Summary D-Link DCS-6501LH provides indoor 2 K monitoring with pan and tilt, night vision and app access. Choose the current C1 Wi-Fi 6 hardware for its verified connections and recording options, then plan placement, network coverage and storage before installation.
