Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra 2K Outdoor PoE Camera

Compact outdoor coverage with longer night vision The Ubiquiti G5 Turret Ultra is a small outdoor PoE camera for entrances, side passages and general perimeter monitoring. Its 2K video, wide fixed lens and integrated microphone support everyday security, while built-in infrared illumination reaches up to 30M in suitable conditions. The IP66 housing and single Ethernet connection make it a practical addition to a UniFi Protect deployment. Highlights Clear day and night monitoring 4MP 2K video at up to 30fps. Wide 102.4° horizontal field of view. Built-in IR illumination out to 30M. Outdoor-ready construction IP66 weather protection and IK04 impact resistance. Aluminium-alloy and UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure. Operating range of −30 to 50°C. Straightforward installation PoE power with maximum consumption of 4W. Standard ceiling and wall mounting included. Black and white finishes with compatible mounting accessories. Key Features Choose coverage for an entrance or approach The fixed lens provides a wide view for monitoring movement across a doorway, walkway or outdoor frontage. The 4MP image records at 2688 × 1512 and up to 30fps. Place the camera so people occupy a useful portion of the frame, and check for obstructions or nearby surfaces that could reflect infrared light. Infrared viewing through the night Integrated IR LEDs and an IR cut filter support day and night operation, with night viewing out to 30M under suitable conditions. Exposure, white balance and noise-reduction controls let the installer adjust the image to the site. The stated IR distance describes illumination reach, so identification detail still depends on viewing distance and scene conditions. Smart events and recorded sound The camera supports people, vehicle and animal detections in Protect, helping operators review relevant activity more quickly. A built-in microphone records sound alongside video. This is microphone audio rather than two-way talk, so choose a two-way-audio camera where speaking to visitors is part of the requirement. An enclosure suited to outdoor placement IP66 weather resistance and UV-stabilised housing materials suit exposed installations, while the IK04 rating provides a defined level of impact resistance. The operating-temperature range extends from −30 to 50°C. Route and protect the Ethernet connection appropriately so the cable installation complements the camera's weather protection. Plan power and the recording system One 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection supplies network traffic and PoE power, with maximum consumption of 4W. A PoE switch or suitable injector, cabling and compatible UniFi Protect console with storage are required separately. Size the console and recording storage for the number of cameras and desired retention. Use the correct mounting arrangement Standard wall and ceiling mounting is included. Compatible arm, dual-camera, gang-box plate and junction-box accessories can adapt the installation for a different surface or cable route. The camera's 30 cm Ethernet lead has an RJ45 connector and a protective connection enclosure. Specialised mounting accessories are separate purchases. Summary The G5 Turret Ultra suits outdoor sites that need compact 2K coverage, smart detections and useful night viewing. Select the finish and mounting arrangement, then provide suitable PoE power and the Protect recording system. Magbasa pa
