Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ACE Peripherals Pte Ltd (UEN 200907828N), Singapore, collects, uses and discloses personal data when you browse our store, purchase products, request services or use our customer tools. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company.

Information we receive

Depending on your interaction, we may receive:

  • Name, company, business contact details, billing and delivery addresses, and account or enquiry details.
  • Order, payment-status, delivery, support and warranty information, including product serial numbers and proof of purchase.
  • Credit-application information, authorised contact details and supporting documents supplied for assessment.
  • Information included in uploads, service requests, saved calculator results and communications with us.
  • Device, browser, network, cookie and usage information generated when you use the website.

Provide accurate information and only documents needed for your request. Redact unrelated personal information from purchase evidence and attachments. Do not upload passwords, payment-card security codes or unnecessary identity documents. If you supply another person’s details, ensure that you have authority and have given any notice or obtained any consent required by law.

Why we use personal data

We use relevant information to fulfil orders and payments, arrange delivery, manage customer accounts, assess authorised credit requests, verify purchases and warranty eligibility, handle support and claims, respond to enquiries and maintain business records. We also use information to operate and improve the website, protect against fraud and misuse, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.

Processing is based on consent, deemed consent or another applicable legal basis or exception. Submitting a form permits us to handle the request for its stated purpose; it does not itself constitute credit approval, warranty acceptance or consent to unrelated marketing. Where required, we obtain consent for marketing and respect applicable opt-out and Do Not Call requirements.

Who may receive information

We may disclose relevant information to service providers and partners needed for the stated purposes, such as our commerce platform, payment providers, delivery companies, manufacturers, distributors, warranty or repair providers, business-system providers and professional advisers. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal rights, investigate suspected fraud or manage a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

We seek to limit disclosure to what the recipient needs for the relevant task. Payment services may process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy notices. Third-party websites and services have their own data practices; review their notices when you use them.

Cookies and website preferences

Cookies and similar technologies may support essential store functions, saved preferences, shopping carts, measurement and advertising. Where a consent or preference control is provided, you can use it to manage applicable optional processing. Browser settings also allow you to manage cookies, although restricting essential cookies may affect store functions. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe method where applicable; operational messages about an order or request may still be necessary.

Protection, retention and overseas processing

We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal data and the risks involved. Access and disclosure should be limited to authorised purposes. No website, email or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal data while reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, or for legitimate business or legal needs such as accounting, warranty administration and dispute resolution. When those needs end, data should be deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable retention requirements and necessary backup processes.

Our providers and partners may process information outside Singapore. Where Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act requires it, overseas transfers must be subject to measures that provide a comparable standard of protection. We assess suspected data breaches and make notifications when required by applicable law.

Access, correction and withdrawal requests

Contact finance@aceperipherals.com to request access to or correction of personal data, withdraw consent, raise a privacy concern or exercise another right that applies to your circumstances. Please describe the request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records. We may verify identity and authority before disclosing or changing information. A serial number or knowledge of an email address alone is not proof of ownership.

Requests are handled subject to applicable law, including exceptions protecting other people’s information, confidential business information and legal obligations. We will explain any permitted fee before proceeding and respond within the applicable timeframe. If more time is needed, we will provide the notice required by law.

Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing a service that requires the information. It does not affect lawful processing already carried out, or processing and retention otherwise permitted or required by law. Rights such as erasure or portability apply only where the relevant law provides them.
