Key Features A Dedicated Two-Way Stereo Pair Each cabinet combines a silk-dome tweeter with a long-throw aluminium-diaphragm mid-low driver. Separate amplifier channels deliver 15W per tweeter and 20W per mid-low driver, with full digital processing, active crossover and dynamic range control. The MDF cabinets and dedicated acoustic chambers form a more deliberate stereo arrangement around a desktop listening position. Wired Audio And Compatible Wireless Listening USB audio provides a direct computer connection, RCA Line In accepts a suitable analogue signal, and Bluetooth 5.3 offers wireless playback. LDAC is available with a transmitting device that supports and enables it. Use the supplied USB audio cable for audio streaming rather than device charging, and select the speakers as the computer output when using the wired digital input. Charging With Shared Power Allocation The two USB-C charging outputs can each supply up to 65W when used alone. The USB-A charging output supports up to 60W alone, while simultaneous connections share the available output according to the manual’s allocation table. Maximum charging speed depends on the connected device, negotiated protocol and cable. These outputs are distinct from the rear USB audio input. Lighting And Sound That Fit Your Workspace TempoAbyss illumination provides preset effects, with brightness and lighting controls available on the speaker. EDIFIER ConneX adds custom lighting and EQ settings alongside supported playback functions. Use a subtle setting for concentrated work or a more expressive effect for entertainment; the sound system does not depend on running the lighting at full brightness. A Practical Route To A Finished Setup The included stands provide an angled desktop position for the cabinets, and the supplied connecting cable links the active and passive speakers. Sub Out supports a compatible powered subwoofer, purchased separately, if you want to extend the low-frequency arrangement later. Allow room for rear connections and side charging leads, and use an appropriate cable for each connected device. Summary Choose the Edifier QR65 when a desktop speaker pair also needs to organise lighting and device charging. It brings separate stereo cabinets, computer audio and optional bass expansion together with useful controls and clear charging-port roles.
