Which power option should I choose?
The Single Power Supply option is RS2423+. The Redundant Power Supply option is the current RS2423RP+II revision with 550W power supplies. Redundant power helps maintain service if one supply fails.
Storage and backup
Use DSM for shared files, backups and snapshots. RAID choice and drive capacity determine usable storage. SSD cache and faster network connections require compatible optional hardware.
What else do I need?
Drives and the RKS-02 rail kit are sold separately. Memory, network cards and SSD adapters must match the selected NAS. NVMe cache requires a compatible adapter card. EW202 can extend the eligible three-year hardware warranty to five years when purchased and registered under the plan terms.
