Jabra PanaCast SpeakerMic Meeting Room Audio Expansion

Bring the Room Audio Closer to the Conversation Bring audio closer to the people seated further along the table with the Jabra PanaCast SpeakerMic. Designed for the PanaCast 55 VBS, this wired expansion accessory adds four omnidirectional microphones and a dedicated speaker while keeping the video bar at the centre of the room system. Compatible host models are Jabra PanaCast 55 VBS and the PanaCast Room Kit or Room Kit Multi configurations built around that video bar. One SpeakerMic can extend the system’s stated audio coverage from up to 7m to up to 11m. The video bar, display and meeting-platform subscription are separate; longer audio reach does not remove camera or framing limits. Highlights Purpose-built audio expansion for Jabra PanaCast 55 VBS. Four omnidirectional microphones and a 60mm speaker. Noise reduction on calls and 100Hz–18kHz audio bandwidth. Wired Cat 6 connection through the included SpeakerMic Adapter. Up to 30m cable link; Cat 6 cable is a separate purchase. Mounting plate and three table adhesives included; optional grommet mount available. Key Features Reach Further Along the Table The additional microphones and speaker place the audio path closer to participants seated further from the video bar. The PanaCast 55 VBS supports one SpeakerMic, with combined stated audio coverage up to 11m under suitable conditions. Room acoustics, seating and background noise still influence the result. Keep the Existing Room System SpeakerMic works as an accessory to the PanaCast 55 VBS and compatible PanaCast Room Kit arrangements built around it. It does not replace the video bar, room computer function or meeting licence. Choose it for a verified host rather than assuming any device with a USB or RJ45 socket is compatible. Connect Through the Correct Adapter Use the included SpeakerMic Adapter and a suitable Cat 6 cable for the dedicated link to the supported bar. The published maximum cable length is 30m, with Cat 6 supplied separately. Follow the manufacturer’s connection layout; the RJ45 connection is part of this accessory system rather than a general network-speaker promise. Place It Where the Conversation Happens The compact circular unit measures 136mm in diameter and 55mm high. A mounting plate and three table adhesives are included, with a compatible grommet mount available separately for an appropriate table installation. Consider seating positions, handling access and a tidy cable route together. Extend Audio Without Confusing the Video Limits SpeakerMic adds audio reach, not another camera. The manufacturer cautions that some PanaCast 55 VBS video modes may not work as intended in rooms larger than 7m. A longer room may therefore need additional camera planning even when the expanded audio coverage is appropriate. Summary Jabra PanaCast SpeakerMic is a focused addition to a compatible PanaCast 55 VBS room that needs more audio reach along the table. Its integrated speaker, four microphones and wired installation keep the accessory choice clear, while the video and room-design limits remain part of the complete system plan.
