WD Black P10 USB Game Drive

Keep your game library close and your next session in sight New releases should not mean saying goodbye to old favourites. WD Black P10 USB Game Drive gives compatible computers and consoles a dedicated place for your game collection, with a portable enclosure, a distinctive metal top covering and a straightforward USB connection. Keep supported games ready for external playback and archive other titles between sessions, while leaving your console's internal storage available for the games that need it. Highlights A portable home for your games Keep a growing collection together without opening your PC or console. Compact, USB-powered construction makes moving between compatible setups simple. Useful performance with a simple connection Manufacturer-rated read speeds up to 130MB/s, depending on the host, capacity and workload. Included USB-A to Micro-B cable connects to a suitable SuperSpeed USB port. Clear support for your gaming platform Play supported PS4 and Xbox One games directly from compatible USB storage. Archive current-generation titles externally, then transfer them to the required storage for play. Key Features Make room for new releases without abandoning favourites P10 provides external HDD storage for the games you want to keep close, from frequently played titles to a collection you revisit between new releases. It gives compatible systems extra space without replacing their internal drive. Actual usable space and the number of games stored depend on formatting, game files, updates and downloadable content. Bring your collection to a compatible setup The portable enclosure and metal top covering suit a gaming desk or a bag for your next session. USB power means there is no separate mains adapter to carry. Your platform, account and valid licences still determine access to stored games; titles installed from a disc may require the original disc to verify ownership. Connect with the cable already in the box The supplied USB-A to Micro-B cable carries power and data between P10 and a compatible host. Its USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface supports a SuperSpeed connection, while the hard drive's actual transfer performance remains separate from the USB link rate. Connect it to a suitable computer or console port and follow the host's storage setup instructions. Keep expectations realistic for game transfers Read speeds reach up to 130MB/s in Western Digital's internal testing. Results vary with the host, usage conditions, drive capacity and other factors. P10 focuses on expanding a game library with portable mechanical storage; its performance rating does not promise an increase in frame rates or the behaviour of a console's internal SSD. Use PlayStation storage for the right games A compatible PS5 can play supported PS4 games from USB extended storage. PS5 games can be stored on P10, but must be moved to the console's internal storage or a compatible installed M.2 SSD before playing. PS4 and PS4 Pro require supported system software. Connect directly to the appropriate console USB port and follow its formatting requirements. Organise Xbox games around playback requirements On compatible Xbox systems, supported Xbox One and backward-compatible games can play from external USB storage. P10 can also archive Xbox Series X|S games. Titles that require the console's faster storage must be transferred to the internal SSD or a compatible storage expansion card before play. Check the requirements shown by the console for each game. Build a practical PC gaming library Compatible Windows and macOS computers can use P10 for external storage, while game installation and playback depend on the particular launcher, operating system and title. It is useful for holding a collection or moving supported files between compatible hosts. A drive formatted for a console may need reformatting before computer use, so copy any important files elsewhere first. Choose dedicated gaming storage with clear support WD Black P10 is purpose-built as a portable game drive and carries a three-year limited warranty under the applicable regional terms. Safely eject it before disconnecting and keep it stable while transferring files. For game saves and personal files that cannot be replaced, maintain a separate backup rather than relying on one external drive. Summary WD Black P10 brings a familiar USB setup and dedicated portable storage to a compatible gaming system. Keep supported games available for external playback, archive titles between sessions and carry a collection without a mains adapter. Its value comes from storage flexibility, with clear distinctions between external storage and the faster storage required by particular games. Magbasa pa
