Ubiquiti UVC-AI-Dome UniFi AI Dome 4K PoE Camera

4K AI Surveillance in a Weather-Resistant Dome The UniFi AI Dome is a wired 8MP camera for entrances, circulation areas and exposed monitoring positions where image detail and a protected dome housing matter. A large 1/1.8-inch sensor captures 4K video at up to 30fps, while the wide fixed lens covers a broad scene from one camera position. Built-in AI recognises faces and number plates alongside people, vehicles and animals, helping you find relevant activity in UniFi Protect. The IP66 enclosure and IK10 impact rating support demanding installations. Power and network data use a single Ethernet connection, and the camera includes a microphone and microSD expansion. Highlights Detailed video and night coverage 4K imaging from a 1/1.8-inch 8MP sensor at up to 30fps. Wide 109.9° horizontal view for entrances and shared spaces. Infrared illumination reaches up to 40M in suitable conditions. Relevant detection and review Recognises faces and licence plates. Detects people, vehicles and animals. Integrates with UniFi Protect for camera management and recording. Installation-ready design IP66 weather resistance and IK10 impact protection. Gigabit Ethernet with PoE power and a maximum 10W draw. Surface mounting components are included; specialised mounts are optional. Key Features Wide coverage with useful detail The fixed lens provides a broad view without a motorised zoom mechanism. This suits locations where the required scene can be framed during installation. The 4K image retains useful detail across that view, while HDR, exposure control and noise-reduction settings help tune the picture for the actual lighting conditions. AI that supports incident searches Native people, vehicle and animal detection lets you focus on relevant activity. Face and licence plate recognition add detail to incident review. Recognition depends on a clear view, suitable lighting and appropriate camera placement, so position the camera for the subjects you need to identify rather than relying on resolution alone. Infrared illumination after dark The camera switches between normal imaging and infrared operation using its IR-cut filter and built-in illumination. Its published IR range is up to 40M. This is an illumination specification, not a guaranteed distance for identifying a face or reading a number plate. Protected installation and clear audio The dome housing combines aluminium alloy and polycarbonate with IP66 and IK10 ratings. The built-in microphone records sound; this model does not provide two-way audio. Protect the Ethernet connection using the supplied weatherproofing components and choose a mounting arrangement suited to the location. Plan the recording system and power Use a compatible UniFi Protect console or NVR with suitable recording storage and a PoE switch or injector. These are separate purchases. Standard Protect recording and camera management require no per-camera surveillance licence. The microSD slot supports on-camera edge recording and requires a card with at least 64GB of storage. Storage media is sold separately. Summary Choose the AI Dome when you need 4K imaging, face and licence plate recognition, long-range infrared illumination and an impact-resistant dome. Confirm the desired field of view, recording capacity and mounting method before installation. Magbasa pa
