This fitted silicone cap covers both exposed lens areas and slips over compatible X6 lens guards or ND filters, so you can put the camera away without rebuilding the optical setup each time. The shaped cap provides a covering for both lens areas during storage and transport. It is a useful physical barrier against everyday contact, but careful packing remains important and no cap can prevent every scratch or fall-related damage.

Keep Compatible Optical Accessories in Place

The cap is designed to fit over compatible X6 Standard Lens Guards, Premium Lens Guards or ND Filters. There is no need to remove those supported accessories simply to cover the camera between shots. Check that the cap is fully seated over the setup you are carrying, rather than forcing it over an unlisted accessory.

Flexible Silicone in a Camera-Specific Shape

Silicone construction gives the cap a flexible form that follows the X6 lens area. Its compact size makes it straightforward to keep with the camera when moving between locations. Choose the colour that suits your kit; the listed colours use the same X6-specific covering purpose rather than different camera compatibility.

Keep the Inside Clean Before Fitting

Check that the cap and the camera’s lens area are clean and dry before fitting. Grit or moisture trapped beneath a cover can undermine the benefit of using it. Seat the cap correctly and check it before carrying the camera, particularly when it could rub against other equipment in a bag.

Remove the Cap Before You Record

This is a storage cover, so remove it before filming or taking photographs. It does not act as a clear lens guard, underwater housing or repair part. Keep it somewhere clean while recording, then refit it when the camera is ready to be put away.

Summary

The Insta360 X6 Lens Cap keeps the camera’s exposed lens areas covered between shoots, including when compatible guards or ND filters remain fitted.
