A shaped grip, tactile shutter button, exposure dial and zoom control make everyday photography and travel filming more deliberate, while an integrated battery supports longer sessions. The fitted frame also adds an external microphone connection and practical accessory mounting, creating a compact recording setup without changing the camera itself.

Highlights

Purpose-built grip and control frame for Insta360 Ace Pro 2.

Tactile shutter button, customisable dial and dedicated zoom knob.

Integrated rechargeable battery supports extended camera use.

3.5 mm input for compatible external analogue microphones.

Cold shoe, quick-release connection and spare microSD card storage.

Key Features

A camera grip that changes the experience

The contoured handle gives the Ace Pro 2 a more substantial hold for street photography, travel details and everyday video. The removable shutter button adds a defined point of contact, while the included wrist strap helps keep the camera close at hand. Choose the matching colour and build a purposeful compact setup around your existing camera.

Direct controls for a deliberate shot

Use the shutter button to take a photo or start and stop recording. The dial adjusts exposure compensation by default and can be assigned supported exposure, shooting-mode or filter functions. A separate zoom knob provides 1× to 2× control in supported modes. These are camera controls rather than an interchangeable optical lens; the available functions depend on the selected mode and current firmware.

Additional power for longer sessions

The integrated battery can supply the connected camera once the power setting is enabled. Manufacturer tests report up to 140 minutes at 4K 60 fps with HDR enabled, or up to 5 hours 40 minutes under the more economical 1080p 24 fps Endurance setup. These are different laboratory conditions, not interchangeable runtime promises. Actual recording time varies with mode, temperature and use.

Bring a microphone into the setup

A built-in 3.5 mm input accepts compatible single or dual analogue microphones, giving interviews and travel recordings an additional audio option. It is an input rather than a headphone-monitoring socket. The cold shoe can hold a suitable accessory without supplying electrical power, while the bottom connection works with compatible Insta360 quick-release accessories and the Standard Mount.

Small details that make a difference

The frame includes a storage position for a spare microSD card, helping keep a replacement close to the camera. This slot stores a card only; it is not a recording slot or card reader. A supplied audio-port cover protects the unused socket, and the removable shutter button and wrist strap complete the kit without adding unnecessary loose components.

Fit securely before heading out

Remove the camera USB cover, align the fitted USB-C connector and close the frame buckle securely. Enable the grip in the camera accessory settings and keep the firmware current. The grip is not waterproof, so use it in suitable dry conditions and restore the camera USB cover after removing the frame. The camera, microphone, memory card and mounting accessories shown in application images are sold separately.

Summary

The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Xplorer Grip Pro Kit combines a comfortable hold, direct shooting controls, additional power and microphone connectivity in one fitted frame.
