The Insta360 Flexi Clip combines a 10–24mm clamping range with a removable 360-degree ball socket, a securing strap and anti-slip components. It gives you a flexible way to frame a road-trip cabin or a tabletop recording, with the camera connected through its appropriate mounting arrangement.

Highlights

Clips to suitable objects 10–24mm thick.

Removable ball socket provides 360-degree angle adjustment.

Securing strap and anti-slip components support the attachment.

Supplied adapter supports a compatible 1/4-inch camera connection.

Maximum attached load is 250g; use the prescribed installation.

Key Features

Start with the Right Clamping Surface

The clip is designed for suitable sun visors and other objects 10–24mm thick. For a car setup, clamp it to the visor and fasten the strap around it as instructed. A loose visor is not a suitable mounting point. For a desktop setup, follow the guide’s edge-clamping arrangement.

Refine the Camera’s View

The removable ball socket lets you rotate the camera position through 360 degrees and adjust the shooting angle. Open the lever to reposition it, then close the lever securely. The camera and socket can be removed together for checking the screen or settings, so support the assembly whenever the connection is open.

Use the Supplied Connection Parts

The kit includes a 1/4-inch to 2-Prong Adapter, thumb screw and four anti-slip rings. Fit the appropriate camera connection and tighten the joint; use an anti-slip ring where instructed if that adapter connection loosens. Camera-specific mounting bases are separate where the chosen camera requires them.

Build a More Considered Road-Trip View

A compatible X-series camera can capture panoramic footage, while the camera and app’s supported MultiView features can turn that view into split-screen or picture-in-picture presentations. The mount itself does not add recording modes. Frame the shot before driving and use the recommended passenger-side visor position to preserve driver visibility.

Stay Within the Intended Conditions

Keep the attached camera and mounting accessories within the 250g weight threshold. The manufacturer specifies flat-road driving, a securely locked ball socket and a properly fastened strap. In direct sun, keep the cabin ventilated or cooled to help the camera avoid overheating. Check the setup again if any joint or the visor becomes loose.

Summary

Insta360 Flexi Clip offers a portable mounting option for suitable visors and desk edges, with a removable ball socket and useful connection parts. Match the 10–24mm clamping range, secure the strap where required and keep the attached load within the published limit. Careful positioning gives the camera a useful new viewpoint without a permanent adhesive mount.

Frequently Asked Questions

<details class="ace-form-disclosure" open>

What Thickness Can It Grip?ExpandCollapse

The specified range is 10–24mm.
